ABOUT US
Bullskin Farm (formerly known as Mountain View) was established in 1765 by Henry Gantt and sold in 1813 to James Watson McCurdy, an ancestor of the current owners.

Bullskin Farm takes it's name from the creek that bisects the property, the Bullskin Run. Local Indians named the run because the wide flat water was a good place for them to clean their bull hides. George Washington surveyed the property as a young man and noted it as 'Bullskin Farm' after the creek.

Bullskin Farm is a working farm, with land in use for crops (primarily corn, soy and wheat) and land set aside for pasture and hay for the herd of Black Angus cattle. We also have an active apiary called Appleseed Apiary, which produces about 120 pounds of honey a season, a small vineyard and extensive gardens.
